Good times for all

If evenings can be made to order, Monday night was perfect by all accounts. Library Square was the place to be for the annual kickoff of the Music in the Park summer concert series, as well as the launch of the 81st Hutchinson Jaycee Water Carnival.

Hutchinson Police Services responded to the following incidents: May 23: Hutchinson Police responded to a two-vehicle accident on State Highway 15 South, just south of the First Avenue Southeast intersection. Two vehicles were heading northbound on Highway 15. Carlos Ivan Bonilla Rodriguez, 31, of Hutchinson was driving a 2010 Chevrolet Equinox and was directly behind Robert Edwin Ward, 72, of Jordan, who was driving a 1970 MG. The MG was stopped for traffic when Rodriguez started moving ahead when the semaphore turned green, striking the rear of Ward’s vehicle. Allina Ambulance responded, no transports. No tows. All occupants were wearing seatbelts. Rodriguez was issued a citation for driving without a valid license for vehicle class or type.
