After 12 years at its Franklin Street address, Hutchinson Center for the Arts has a new home at 218 Main St. S.
‘One Voice’ concert set for Sept. 5
“One Voice” is a community worship concert organized and put on by the Hutchinson Area Worship Leaders, or HAWL group. It will be 6-7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 5, in Library Square, downtown Hutchinson. Admission is free, but free-will donations are welcome with proceeds going to Common Cup Ministry.
Mark Yira elected president of Minnesota Association for Justice
The Minnesota Association for Justice has elected Markus Yira of Hutchinson as its new president. The association said Yira has been an active member of MAJ for 28 years and brings a wealth of experience, dedication and leadership to his new role.
HHS Class of 1957 Reunion
Hutchinson High School Class of 1957 will celebrate its 67th reunion 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Thursday, Sept.
A wall of emotion
For four days, The Wall That Heals was at rest in Hutchinson. Throughout the day and night-time hours, men, women and children came to pay their respects to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial last week.
Ambitious summer of Habitat for Humanity
This summer marks a milestone for Crow River Habitat for Humanity as the organization works on not one, but two major housing projects in the area. Bayley Schluter, executive director of Crow River Habitat for Humanity, shed light recently on the challenges and triumphs of the chapter’s ongoing efforts.

Paul Borscheid of Hutchinson, MN, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2024, at the age of 71 at Hutchinson Hospital after a 13-year battle with Alzheimer’s. Paul was born on November 5, 1952, to Donald and Ruth Borscheid in Buffalo, MN.
