JUSTIN KLINGHAGEN

Justin Klinghagen, 49, of Litchfield passed away at his home on Tuesday, August 27, 2024. Celebration of Life services for Justin will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at Fiddler’s Green, 63054 County Road 11, Litchfield, MN 55355 at 4 p.m. Justin Lester Klinghagen was born on March 3, 1975, in St. Paul. His parents are Roger and Marie (Syrovatka). He was baptized on June 15, 1975, and was confirmed in his faith in 1989 at Vineyard UMC in Hutchinson. He grew up in Hutchinson where he graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1993. After high school, he attended Southwest Minnesota State University to study business and music. Justin met his future wife Leia during their college years and graduated with a BS in 1999. Justin lived in Litchfield for 20 years and spent the past three years on Lake Richardson. He was united in marriage to Leia Ann Overman on April 23, 2005, in Ocho Rios-Jamacia. Their marriage was blessed with two sons, Jacob Roger and Casey John. Justin was co-owner of Headwaters Media, including radio stations 94.1 The Loon, KSCR-FM, and KBMO AM/FM. He recently became a real estate agent with Premier Real Estate. Justin also served his community through many organizations including Elks Lodge in Hutchinson, Eagles, Masons, Jaycees, Watercade Committee, Bear Lake Beavers 4-H Club, God Gave the Song, MN Realtor Association and was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. He enjoyed playing guitar, attending festivals, listening to music, playing poker and going camping. Justin loved to spend time with family and friends. He was the master planner for any activity that brought friends and family together. Justin was a people person. He was a story-teller, kind-hearted, he had a zest for life, was witty and a giver. Deep conversations and insightful jokes showed up in his thoughtfulness. Donna Stella Dummer, 92, of Carlos died peacefully on Thursday, August 22, 2024, at CentraCare Health in Monticello. Pearl Ann (Stritesky) Seale was born on her family’s farm in Hutchinson Township on July 15, 1927, to Louis and Agnes (Totushek) Stritesky. She was baptized and confirmed at Silver Lake Congregational Church (now Grace Bible Church) in Silver Lake. Pearl received her 1st-8th grade education at Bear Lake School, District 47 in McLeod County. She attended Hutchinson High School grades 9-12 and graduated from HHS in 1945. Pearl kept in touch with her classmates through the years, organizing many of their class reunions. Pearl married Ed Seale on May 3, 1947, at Silver Lake Congregational Church. They enjoyed 25 years of marriage before Ed passed away in November of 1971 from a heart attack. Pearl and Ed had no children. Pearl worked at various stores in the Hutchinson area - Lowry’s SuperValu, Gilbert’s SuperValu, JCPenney, and Ostrom’s Hardware Store. In August of 1957, she began her long career as a secretary at Hutchinson High School and Middle School, working for Ralph Bergstrom and Bill Snyder.
