Gertrude “Trudy” E. Johnson, 82, of Lynn Township, rural Hutchinson, passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at Harmony River Living Center in Hutchinson. Funeral Service was held Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church in Hutchinson with interment in Oakland Cemetery in Hutchinson.

 Gertrude “Trudy” Elsie Johnson was born on March 30, 1942, in Litchfield. She was the daughter of Herman and Gretchen (Runke) Stueber. Trudy was baptized as an infant on April 12, 1942, and later confirmed in her faith as a youth on May 20, 1956, both at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Cedar Mills Township. She received her education in Cosmos and was a graduate of Cosmos High School, class of 1960.
 On July 3, 1960, Trudy was united in marriage to Wilbur Johnson at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Cedar Mills Township. This marriage was blessed with six children, Doug, Bruce, Danny, Brad, Scott, and Becky. Trudy and Wilbur resided in Lynn Township, rural Hutchinson. They shared 64 years of marriage.
 Trudy was a loving wife, mother, homemaker, and partner in the farming operation. She and Wilbur also owned and operated Fun America Snowmobile Repair Shop in Hutchinson. Trudy was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Hutchinson.
 Trudy enjoyed gardening, sewing, crafting, and playing card games. She also enjoyed traveling and going on fishing trips in Canada. Trudy cherished spending time with her family, grandchildren and friends.

 Trudy is survived by her husband Wilbur Johnson of Hutchinson; children, Doug Johnson and his wife Susan of Hutchinson, Danny Johnson and his wife Carrie of Rice, Brad Johnson and his wife,Shari of Hutchinson, Scott Johnson and his wife Heather of Alexandria, Becky Kobow and her husband Brian of Hutchinson; grandchildren, Andy (Toni), Jordan (Alexandra), Tyler (Maddie), Tristan (Emily), Alexis, Kaylee (Cooper), Abby, Isabelle, Brooke, Brie, Isaac, Brynn, Jeff (Corine), Chad, Chrystal; sisters, Dorothy Adams of Hutchison, Elva Nass and her husband Carl of Hutchinson, Marie Block and her husband Jerry of Cosmos; brothers, David Stueber and his wife Nancy of Cosmos, John Stueber of Cedar Mills, Jim Stueber and his wife Kathy of Cosmos; sister-in-law Cindy Stueber of Atwater; many other relatives and friends.
 Trudy is preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Gretchen Stueber; son Bruce Johnson; brothers, Mark Stueber, Tommy Stueber; brother-in-law LeRoy Adams; sisters-in-law, Donna Stueber, Myra Stueber.
