Due to an editing oversight, the “about me” portion of the candidate profile of Litchfield City Council candidate Malinda Larson ran longer than the 100-word limit to which candidates were asked to abide. The editor regrets the oversight.

Meeker County Sheriff Brian Cruze announced lastweekthe opening of the application period for the Law Enforcement Scholarship Program for 2024. The Minnesota Sheriff’s Association Board of Directors established a scholarship fund for the awarding of up to 18 $2,000 scholarships.
