Effect of Trump cuts will be wide-reaching

At medical school graduations a few months from now, thousands of new physicians across the country will recite the Hippocratic Oath as so many of their predecessors have done. The oath states, in part: By all that I hold highest, I promise my patients competence, integrity, candor, personal commitment to their best interest, compassion…I shall do by my patients as I would be done by…I shall work with my profession to improve the quality of medical care and to improve the public health.

HUTCHINSON POLICE REPORT

Hutchinson Police Services responded to the following incidents: Feb. 14: Hutchinson Police responded to a report of a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Jefferson Street Southeast/First Avenue Southeast. Samantha Jean Monson, 35, of Hutchinson was driving a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee south on Jefferson Street Southeast. Victoria Jean Langan, 59, of Hutchinson was driving a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee west on First Avenue Southeast, approaching the stop sign with Jefferson Street SE. Langan proceeded westbound through the intersection. Monson was unable to stop and collided with the rear passenger side of the Grand Cherokee. No reported injuries. No tows. All were were wearing seatbelts. Langan was issued a citation for petty misdemeanor-traffic regulations- driver approaching intersection fails to yield right of way.
