I wonder what motivated Mueller to say that? Could it possibly be that we are not people that always wake up in the morning ready to sing?
In 1964, a dictatorship was established in Brazil. I arrived in Brazil as a Peace Corps volunteer just as that dictatorship began. It wasn’t until 21 years later, in 1985, when Brazil would again be transitioning towards democracy.

Dear neighbors, When I was in high school I received a small booklet from the National Rifle Association that contained the United States Constitution, including the Bill of Rights, and the Declaration of Independence. I carried that little booklet in my backpack throughout high school, college, and even seminary. Like a Bible, I found it useful to read a bit of it now and then and even found many occasions to use it as a source in papers I was writing.
This month my husband and I and other church volunteers are doing what we do periodically: delivering meals to elders in our community.
