Ted L Simons passed away September 3, 2025, at his current home in Rochester with family. He was born on Christmas Day in 1942. He married his wife Judy in 1962.
 Ted moved to Hutchinson in 1969 and resided there until 2019. Ted was a Navy veteran. He worked at 3M for over 33 years. Many of them as an electrical engineer and later as management team. He loved fishing, golfing, woodworking, creating on his 3D printer and spending time with his family.
 He is survived by his wife Judy, children Leisa with her husband Ty and their daughter Emily, and son Dan with his wife Alyssa and their daughters Kaitlyn and Megan.
 A Celebration of Life to share memories took place on September 6 and he will be laid to rest at Oakland Cemetery in Hutchinson.
