ALLAN FUCHS

 Allan J. Fuchs, 65, of Hutchinson passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Hutchinson Health in Hutchinson. Memorial Service was held Monday, September 8, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Peace Lutheran Church in Hutchinson with interment in the church cemetery.

 Allan John Fuchs was born on January 7, 1960, in Faribault. He was the son of Elmer and Alice (Phillops) Fuchs. Allan was baptized as an infant, and later confirmed in his faith as a youth on May 5, 1974, both at Trinity Lutheran Church in Faribault. He was a graduate of Faribault High School, class of 1978.
 On September 12, 1981, Allan was united in marriage to Shirley Esther Treichler at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Cedar Mills Township. The marriage was blessed with three children, Jackie, Michael, and Matthew. Allan and Shirley resided in Hutchinson. They shared 43 years of marriage.
 Allan was employed at Hutchinson Leader for 32 years in distribution. More recently, he worked at Legendary Bakery/Apple Valley Foods in Chaska.
 Allan was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Hutchinson and served as an usher.
 Allan enjoyed fishing, taking care of the house plants, going on drives, and attending parades with Shirley every summer. He enjoyed watching movies at home. Above all, he cherished spending time with his family and friends.

 Allan is survived by his wife, Shirley Fuchs of Hutchinson; daughter, Jackie Fuchs of Hutchinson; son, Matthew Fuchs of Fort Collins, Colo., and his fiancée April Hernandez; brothers, David Fuchs and his wife Helen of Waukee, Iowa, Brian Fuchs and his wife Michele of Faribault; many other relatives and friends.
 Allan is preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Alice Fuchs; son, Michael Fuchs; sister, Barbara Fuchs.
