JOHN SCHLUETER

 John William Schlueter, 70, of Winsted peacefully passed away at Good Samaritan Society in Howard Lake on October 18, 2025. John was born in Litchfield on March 21, 1955, to Alvin and Lenora (Margaret) (Condon) Schlueter. John attended St. Anastasia Elementary and then attended Hutchinson High School, where he graduated in 1973. John had worked at Mid America in Winsted and then joined the Army and was stationed in Germany for three years. He returned to work at Mid American. John married Julie (Zdrazil) on June 10, 1978, at Holy Trinity Church. Together they had three children, Chris, Brad, and Missy. In 1981 John attended the electrical course at Anoka Technical College. John had different jobs and attended Ridgewater College in Hutchinson for electronics.
 In 1984 John moved to Winsted. He worked for Emerson Process Management and retired from there. John was known for his humor and kindness; he got along with people and enjoyed conversations. John was very smart and worked very hard at his job. He truly loved his job.
 John is preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Margaret Schlueter; his daughter Missy; grandson Joey; sister Rosemary; sister-in-law Sheri Schlueter; brother-in-law Mike Dudek.
 He is survived by his children Chris (Jenni) Schlueter, Brad Schlueter, and the mother of his children Julie Schlueter, brother Danny Schlueter, sisters Anne (Dave) LeClaire, Julie (Terry) Quast, and Carole Schlueter. He is also survived by his two grandchildren Mackenzie and Jaxon Schlueter; two step-grandchildren Kaylee and Lizy Constenius; nephews, and nieces.
 A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial for John Schlueter will be held on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at 1 p.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted. Father Matthew Wiering will be the Celebrant. Irene Kutz will be the reader for the Mass. Inurnment will follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery.
 A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 28 AT THE CHURCH from 11 a.m. until time of services.
