Thomas “Tom” E. Wendorff, age 68, of Hutchinson, Minnesota, passed away on Monday, August 4, 2025, at his home. Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Sunday, August 10, 2025, from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at his daughter’s home in Cokato, Minnesota.
Thomas “Tom” Edward Wendorff was born on November 2, 1956, in Olivia, Minnesota. He was the son of Elmer and Helen (Milbrett) Wendorff. Tom was baptized as an infant on December 2, 1956, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Osceola Township, rural Olivia, and later confirmed in his faith as a youth. He received his education in Glencoe, Minnesota, and was a graduate of the Glencoe High School Class of 1975. Tom furthered his education at Pipestone Vocational School for Building, Marketing, and Management.
On August 30, 1975, Tom was united in marriage to Marcia Jungclaus at First Congregational Church in Glencoe, Minnesota. This marriage was blessed with three children, Angela, Nick, and Jill. They resided in Cokato, Minnesota. After Tom and Marcia parted ways, he later moved to Hutchinson, Minnesota.
Tom was employed for many years at Simonson Lumber in Hutchinson and then moved on to work at Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing (3M) in Hutchinson. Tom retired in 2019.
Tom enjoyed watching NASCAR and various Minnesota sports, grilling out, and fishing. He also enjoyed coaching and playing softball. Tom cherished spending time with his family, grandchildren and friends.

Tom is preceded in death by his Parents, Elmer and Helen Wendorff; Brothers, Gerald Wendorff, Jim Wendorff.
