Elizabeth “Betty” A. Zavoral, 71, of Hutchinson passed away on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale. Memorial Service was Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Dobratz-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Hutchinson with interment in Holy Family Catholic Cemetery in Silver Lake.

 Elizabeth “Betty” Ann Zavoral was born on March 29, 1954, in Olivia. She was the daughter of Michael and Mildred (Woelfel) Folsom. Betty was baptized as an infant on April 4, 1954, and later confirmed in her faith as a youth in 1965. She received her education in Cosmos and was a graduate of Cosmos High School, class of 1972.
 On August 9, 1986, Betty was united in marriage to Roger Zavoral at Holy Family Catholic Church in Silver Lake. This marriage was blessed with two children, John and Mary, along with Betty’s daughter, Amy. Betty and Roger resided in Hutchinson. They shared 25 years of marriage until Roger passed away on November 30, 2011.
 Betty was employed at Medallion Cabinetry in Waconia. She retired in 2012. Betty was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Silver Lake.
 Betty enjoyed volunteering for 4H and flower gardening. She especially enjoyed making homemade fudge during the Christmas season. Betty cherished spending time with her family, grandchildren and friends.

 Betty is survived by her children, Amy da Silva and her husband Gilvan “Chico” of Foley, John Zavoral of Vail, Colo., Mary Zavoral and her fiancé Ryan Knacke of Hutchinson; grandchildren, Adriana and Fabiana da Silva of Foley; siblings, Joseph Folsom and his wife Patti of Houlton, Wis., Dororthy Lentz of Hector, Michael Folsom and his significant other Patty of Lewisville, Daniel Folsom and his wife Sharon of Hixson, Tenn., Diane Folsom of Sleepy Eye, Natalie Richards and her husband Charlie of Hector, Susan Folsom and her significant other Lyle of Hector, Linda Karl and her husband Les of Buffalo Lake, Carol Folsom of Lehigh Acres, Fla.; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
 Betty is preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Mildred Folsom; husband Roger Zavoral; brother Paul Folsom; nephews, Dean Lentz, Tyler Richards; sister-in-law, Jacky Folsom.
