Linda M. Kurtz, 70, of Hutchinson passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2024, at Harmony River Living Center in Hutchinson. Memorial Service was held Friday, May 31, 2024, at 10 a.m. at Dobratz-Hantge Fun eral Chapel in Hutchinson. She was the daughter of Raymond and Theresa (Wimmer) Lanigan. Linda was baptized as an infant and confirmed in her faith at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Minneapolis. She received her education in Minneapolis and was a graduate of South High School class of 1971. Linda received additional education at Ridgewater College in Hutchinson. Linda was blessed with five children, Shanna, Daniel, Rae, Christina “Tina”, and Sean. Linda worked in health care for several years.

She enjoyed painting, refinishing and making furniture. She also enjoyed watching birds, gardening, and crocheting. Linda’s life was centered around her family, grandchildren and friends. She spent the later years of her life with her beloved Duane. Blessed be her memory. Linda is survived by her fiancé, Duane Unterburger of Hutchinson; children, Shanna Borowicz and her husband Jeremy of Litchfield, Daniel Kurtz and his special friend Elizabeth of St. Cloud, Rae Kurtz of Darwin, MN, Christina “Tina” Schmidt and her husband, Josh of Darwin, Sean Dahl and his special friend Hailey of Hutchinson; grandchildren, Nicholas Berggren and his special friend Amanda Duarte, Jordan Berggren, Jaden Kurtz, Issac Kurtz, Ian Kurtz, Khilah Miller, Tarrell Kurtz, Olivia Schmidt, Layton Schmidt, Deacon Dahl; great-grandchildren, Keegan Berggren and Braylee Kurtz; stepchildren, Ryan Unterburger and his wife Rachael of Glencoe, Amy Nygaard and her husband Nick of Howard Lake; step-grandchildren, Dylan Glaser, Meryk Glaser, Jayce Unterburger, Ava Nygaard, Jake Nygaard, Robbie Nygaard; siblings, Katherine Reibe and her husband Harvey of Darwin, Debora Lanigan of Darwin, William Lanigan and his wife Debbie of Red Wing, Donald Lanigan of Minneapolis, Thomas Lanigan and wife Dawn, of Bloomington, Terese Revak of Minneapolis, Patrick Lanigan of Litchfield, Raymond Lanigan Jr. and his wife Christie of Minneapolis; sisters-in-law, Vicky Lanigan of Ham Lake and Debbie Lanigan of Litchfield; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Theresa Lanigan; siblings, Gerald Lanigan and sister-in-law Barb Lanigan, Charles Lanigan, Michael Lanigan.
