Forgive others as Christ forgives you
At my first hearing, no one came to my defense, but everyone deserted me. May it not be counted against them. 2 Timothy 4:16 It’s a problem every Christian faces many times in life. Someone says or does something that hurts us. They might have said something that cut to our heart in a bad way. Someone may have let us down when we were counting on them. Someone may have offered what they intended to be constructive criticism, but the words came out wrong. We live in a sinful world populated by sinful human beings. People often get hurt by the words and actions of others. Sometimes we’ve been the ones who’ve been hurt. If we’re honest with ourselves, we’ve also been the one to hurt someone else with things we’ve said or done.
