This year’s theme for National Nutrition Month in March is “Food Connects Us.” Food connects us to our families and friends. Sharing a meal is an opportunity to learn about its preparation and where the ingredients were sourced. Health, memories and traditions can impact our relationship with food. While these factors influence the foods we eat, the foods we eat also affect our health.
Hutchinson Police Services responded to the following incidents: March 4: Hutchinson Police responded to a report of a disturbance on the 500 block of Jefferson Street Southeast. Officers found no crime was committed during the disturbance but an involved party was found to have an active warrant. Officers located the wanted individual at Verizon. Roxanne Marie Mclain, 54, of Hutchinson was taken into custody for her failure to appear warrant on original charge of misdemeanor-theft out of McLeod County. Mclain was transported to the McLeod County Jail.
